How do I know which of the four services is right for my project?
As a rough guide: extending or renovating your own home falls under Extensions & Renovations, renovating a property you own to let or sell falls under Investment Refurbishment, converting a property into a house in multiple occupation falls under HMO Conversions, and converting a commercial building into homes falls under Commercial to Residential. If you're still not sure, get in touch and we'll point you the right way before any work is scoped.
Can a project involve more than one of these services?
Yes. An HMO conversion of a commercial building, for example, touches both HMO Conversions and Commercial to Residential. We scope the project on its specifics rather than forcing it into a single category.
Do you work on both residential and commercial projects?
Yes. Extensions, renovations, investment refurbishment and HMO conversions are mainly residential; commercial-to-residential conversions start from a commercial building. All four are managed by the same team under the same design-and-build model. For larger schemes run to formal contract terms, see professional contracts.
Is the process different depending on which service applies?
The core process is the same (consultation, design and planning, build, handover), but the detail changes with the project. An HMO conversion involves licensing and room configuration; a commercial conversion involves permitted development or planning routes specific to change of use. We handle the relevant detail as part of the service.
